Standing at 4'9", Elana is a very small soldier (though she claims she's 5', naturally). Her round eyes are a sky blue with a glimmer of pastel green around her pupils. Her brown hair reaches the small of her back, and it fades to a lighter color closer to the tips. During the summer, there are sun bleached highlights. It's usually pulled up into high a ponytail or bun. She had a round face and soft cheekbones. There is a smattering of freckles across the bridge of her nose. Her skin is always lightly tanned, but it gets a few shades darker in the summer. She rarely burns.
Elana likes wearing her uniform, but she changes up the shirt to something bright. A thin, white ribbon is always incorporated into her outfit, whether it be tied around her neck, wrist, or up in her hair. She uses an older style of golden swords.
In her titan form, she is a golden, winged reptile. The scales along her stomach form a jagged pattern and are a crimson red. Her eyes are a deep amber around slitted, feline pupils. Large, shark-fin-like horns run along her back, starting at her brow ridge. They are a paler color than her shining gold color. Her claws are curved and longer than the swords she uses. Spikes that can flex out like a mace are along the last several yards of the tip of her tail. Her large wings are large enough to reach the ground at the elbow. Smaller horns protect her ear canals When she shifts, a black orb covers her human body before her "titan wing" form emerges. It does the same in reverse as well.

Strengths and Abilities:
- doesn't need to harm herself to change
- can fly
- wings can be used to speed up her run
- wings can be used as legs as she holds something in her hands
- as a human, she can purr, sounding similar to a cougar
- as a human, she can channel her titan strength
- as a human, she can change her hands into claws
- her sense of determination makes her almost unstoppable
- scales are thicker than titan skin
Weaknesses:
- her insides are soft
- can be cut from the inside out
- her ear is large enough for a human to step inside and slice
- it takes large amounts of concentration and energy to use titan abilities in human form
- if higher ranking soldiers harm her, she heals slower - almost as slow as a human depending on who harms her
- must be near her captain at all times
- it is very difficult for her to defy orders from her captain and commander
- if her captain or commander grabs the male of her neck in human form, she goes limp (but remains standing if she was already standing) though she is still able to talk, just very drowsily
- for the most part she is warm blooded, but if she gets too cold, she’ll fall asleep until she is warm again

Much like the rest of her family, Elana has a high level of emotions. She's quick to snap, and her tongue is as sharp as her ancient mind. She is strong-willed, passionate about what she sets her mind too, and a bit rash-minded at times. It makes it a bit difficult to follow her orders, but she does so anyway, just as the made her made to. She is quick to defend those she loves and attack anything that threatens humankind. It was the main reason she joined the Scouts in the first place. At times, her selflessness causes more trouble than good. Of course, she never regrets sacrificing her own safety to protect another.
When she isn't in a battle or argument, Elana is just another teenager: over-exciting and looking forward to the future. She's a bit silly sometimes, always trying to bring a smile to her comrades' faces. This also gets her in trouble by her captain, Levi, mainly because she's constantly trying to mess with his stony appearance.
She can be serious, though, especially when interrogating an enemy. It's a rare and scary sight.

What she remembers the most, though, is her 18th year. She volunteered for a secret operation that was supposed to make her a stronger soldier to aide her missions in the Scout Legion. The serum the scientists gave her cause her to turn into a Titan - but not the right one. Instead of the humanoid monster they planned on, Elana was turned into a reptilian beast with wings: a Titan wing.
Banished from the safety of the walls and thrown over Wall Maria, Elana lived over a hundred years alone before finally returning to human civilization. It was then she spotted a freshly recruited Levi Ackerman. Curiosity peaked, Elana remained in the blurry background of his life, too afraid to approach him once she saw his Titan killing capabilities, yet too entranced to leave him behind.
During the Battle of Trost, Elana worked beside Mikasa in defending the gate. She remained back when the other girl went in search of Eren, unaware of who he was at the time. But, when she spotted the lightning hit the earth, she knew what was happening.
After the battle, Elana looked for her brother's last known descendant through military personnel only records to find a picture of a young Eren Jaeger. She has yet to meet her many-great nephew or the famouos Captain Levi.
